The BBC launches voting with instant results across BBC Sports.

Following on from the popularity of viewer and listener voting on issues ranging from where Wayne Rooney should play to the best goal of the World Cup, live results voting is now available on BBC Live Pages and in the BBC Sport app.

The BBC uses the Tectonic Platform to run votes across it’s entire sports coverage, ranging from the Ryder Cup to the Premier League.

With the new service, BBC Sport journalists can set up new votes in seconds and results are published in real-time.

Free voting introduced to The X Factor app

XF Free Vote

This year The X Factor fans can vote for free for the first time in the show’s history via App, available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
The App is free and so is the brand new voting element.

ITV’s broadcast interactive partner, Tectonic Interactive, has developed the voting service which enables home viewers to vote quickly and easily via their apps.

The service is highly scaled in anticipation of a great response from the home audience. This is another example of ITV working with Tectonic Interactive to create new opportunities for ITV viewers to engage with their favourite show.

If you don’t yet have the App, what are you waiting for? iOS users download the app here and
this one’s for you Android users.
