Tectonic Interactive provides high-capacity competition service for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing

Earlier this month the BBC gave away a pair of tickets to the live final of Strictly Come Dancing. Viewers were invited to enter the competition online via the Strictly Come Dancing website.

“The BBC selected Tectonic Interactive to provide the online competition service, hosted on the award-winning Tectonic platform. The service was designed to handle the peaks of traffic experienced during the live shows and conform with the rigorous BBC policy on data protection and compliant winner selection.”

Free voting introduced to The X Factor app

XF Free Vote

This year The X Factor fans can vote for free for the first time in the show’s history via App, available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
The App is free and so is the brand new voting element.

ITV’s broadcast interactive partner, Tectonic Interactive, has developed the voting service which enables home viewers to vote quickly and easily via their apps.

The service is highly scaled in anticipation of a great response from the home audience. This is another example of ITV working with Tectonic Interactive to create new opportunities for ITV viewers to engage with their favourite show.

If you don’t yet have the App, what are you waiting for? iOS users download the app here and
this one’s for you Android users.
